Robert “Bob” Anderson, 58, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Friday, January 1, 2021 near Sandpoint, Idaho. Private services have been held.
Bob was born in Inglewood, CA to Carl and Betty Anderson. He grew up and attended school in Glendora, CA. Bob graduated from Glendora High School in 1980, where he was on the Tartan wrestling team. Following high school, Bob attended Cal Poly Pomona, graduating with a degree in accounting. It was in a college class where Bob met Kim, and they married in 1986.
Shortly thereafter, they moved and started their life in Oregon. Bob worked in the Banking industry for 35 years. In 2016, life brought them to Sandpoint, ID.
Bob’s motto was, “work hard, play hard.” He lived each day to the fullest, and will be remembered for his storytelling, wit, humor, and intelligence. Bob was an adventurer, lifelong martial artist, horseman, master scuba diver, seasoned traveler (visiting 40 countries and all 50 states with his wife Kim), expert marksman, avid outdoorsman and self-taught musician. Bob also thoroughly enjoyed his 1958 Chevy Apache pickup truck and Sandpoint’s Lost in the 50’s celebration.
Bob is survived by his wife Kim, of Sagle, ID.
