Lavelle Elizabeth Utt, 64, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Private family services have been held.
Lavelle was born on July 7, 1955 in Portland, Oregon to Grant and June Hoyt. She attended Jackson High School in Portland. She married Kenneth Utt in September 1973 in Portland. Lavelle raised her children and some of their friends. In 1994 she moved to Sandpoint.
She enjoyed art, painting, gardening, and shopping at thrift stores. She also enjoyed mentoring young women.
She is survived by two daughters Sadie Utt of Portland and Nicole (Frankie) Good of Coeur d’Alene; three sons Nick Utt (Heidi Constantin of Sandpoint, Nathan Utt of Coeur d’Alene and Dylan Utt of Boise; 10 grandchildren Shay Utt, Kelcey Boss (Casey Timblin), Christian Moes, Alex (Megan) Moes, Natalie Good, Naomi Good, Nakita Good, Karissa, Cody and Mai; two great grandchildren Amelia Timblin, and Killian Moes; five sisters Bunny McMahon, Gloria Ellingson, Judith Landis, Velda Hoyt, and Teresa Hoyt; and two brothers Shane Hoyt, and Wayne Hoyt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ken, sisters Christie Hoyt and Patricia Stuva, and four brothers Herbie Hoyt, Pete Hoyt, Randy Hoyt, and Ralph Hoyt.
