Lily Dianne (Carlson) Roche, 79, entered eternity on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in Sandpoint, Idaho.
She was born on February 18, 1940 in Erskine, MN to Eberth and Ethel Carlson. She grew up and attended school in the McIntosh, MN. She attended the University of Minnesota, was a member of Clovia and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics. She taught home economics in Mora, Northfield, Anoka and Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
Lily married Wesley Roche on July 15, 1967 on the family farm in McIntosh. They established their home in Ramsey, MN. After raising their 3 children, she obtained her elementary education certificate from Bethel College. She was a substitute teacher in the Anoka-Hennepin School District.Lily loved raising her family and enjoyed her grandchildren. She loved and noticed people—especially those who were hurting—encouraging them and pouring her life into them. But even more, Lily loved her Lord Jesus Christ. She desired others to know Him, too.
She is survived by her husband Wes, her children: Rochelle (Jeff) Rosenthal of New London, WI; Carletta (Jim) Lahn of Bemidji, MN and Wesley (Alyssa) Roche of Sandpoint, ID; and her seven grandchildren and her brother Erland (Elaine) Carlson of Fort Dodge, IA and their children.
Interment is at Corinthian Cemetery in Farmington, MN. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday August 9, 2019 at 3pm at Nowthen Alliance Church in Anoka MN with visitation and light meal following.
