Bob was always a special neighbor of ours out Talache. He had an unforgettable twinkle in his eyes and smile. He would extend kindness and helping jesters to us out there...when you least expected it. He'll be well remembered. PEACE Bob.

Bob will be missed by everyone who has known him. He made a huge impression on me as I grew up. I looked forward to seeing him for holidays and all the times in between. He was a part of our family.

I met Bob at WSU in 1961. He was a kind, generous and loyal friend, who was always up for an adventure. When Bob dropped by you knew that something interesting and unusual was going to happen. He would disappear for a year or to and then mysteriously appear in the most unlikely places, like in the middle of my forest where I was falling trees or sitting at my teacher's desk which I had left for a few minutes. We travelled together in my 52 GMC mini-school bus or in one of our '59 VW vans which he had bought for $75 and we had restored together. Everyone Bob touched has a few "the Bob" stories to share. He was a true original, and will be missed by my family and all of our mutual acquaintances.
