We will always remember Randy for his big smile, infectious laugh and lovable personality. He was never one to shy away from a family challenge to golf, pickle ball or bocce. I can’t recall a visit when there was no laughter or entertaining banter. He was truly special man which is evident but the outpouring of love. Our thoughts and love are with all of you. Wishing you strength and peace for the days ahead.

Randy was in our house when we were little as my mom watched him when his mom worked. We were in the same grade and same age. There was an incident where my dad thought I disobeyed and Randy said, "Are you going to punish her for not hearing?" After that we were riding our bikes and I did not hear the car that came up behind us. Randy was screaming and mom came out and I think that is when they realized that I could not hear. In junior high I spent one summer at their house and Randy and I swam almost everyday. I was a tiny thing and he made me feel protected. He joined the Coast Guard and I the Army. I have to say that he advised me to NOT try join the Coast Guard. He did encourage me to join the Army. My favorite picture of us is at South Umpqua Falls when we were 5 or 6 swimming.. I have to say that I adored Randy. I am so sorry for the family's loss of their wonderful human being.
