We are very thankful to have been a part of Mickey’s life over the years. As a sister in the Lord and friend. And enjoyed having conversations with her about the Lord and her interesting historical life. Treasures!! We have been blessed to know the Fitchett family through the years. We pray for comfort for the family. Proverbs 3: 5 & 6.

I met Mickey in 1958. My grandfather and I were building a barn on our family's ranch on Gold Greek. My grandfather bought all the lumber from Winn and Mickey. When we arrive at the mill, Winn was running their circle saw and Mickey was pulling green chain and stacking lumber. Tough work, but she easily kept up with what came through the saw. Their kids were very small and there were goats everywhere! It was a real eye-opener for a boy from a mining town. Winn delivered several loads of lumber on his truck. We assembled most of it into trusses for the barn, which still stands. Wonderful family.

What a wonderful lady. I remember her from church when I was a kid. She had spunk and true grit. Blessings to her family.

She's finally Home! I remember first meeting Mickey Fitchett. It was in the old "M & J" store building at the corner of Boyer and Larch. She was leading kids songs at the fledgling Calvary Baptist Church. Rusty was the first kid I knew in the small Sunday School. MIckey was a wonderful woman, devoted wife and mother, too. What a great family and a privilege to know the Fitchetts! I look forward to Heaven and reuniting with all those glorious saints that we all miss here below!

My heart goes out to Rusty, Ruby and the whole family. Mickey was a happy, very pleasant part of my youth. Did I you that MY mother was often the babysitter for the Carpenter family? Evidently, Mickey was very happy--and fun--even as a little girl! I love your Mom and the delightful, hardworking, GOOD person she is. We send our love to you all. ~~Beverly (Green) & PatCabbage, and the whole Green family
