Kirk touched countless lives with his extraordinary images. His ability to capture the beauty of northern Idaho was unmatched, and the generosity of widely sharing his gift was equally unparalleled. He will be missed by far more people than he ever met, but the loss is all too real for each of us nonetheless. RIP magical man, we wish your family solace now and long into the future.

Kirk will be missed by our family. Natalie and the rest of the family, my prayers are with you and I hope I can hug you next time I come home. Sending love. Kirk was so sweet to me last may when I was gone, we shared coffee and I explained to him how much joy he gives me daily with glimpses from home, now that I’m in Az. Such a kind soul.

My deepest condolences to Kirks family. I so looked forward to his posts every morning, I don’t live there anymore but his photos took me home everyday. He will surely be missed. Rest In Peace Captain.
