Dearest Sandy and family, So very sorry for your loss. Ken was a longtime friend to my late husband, Larry and me. We go back to our days at Tahoe when we all worked the clubs before moving here to Idaho. Was happy to have spent some time getting to know Ken again a short time ago at a gardeners association potluck. Sending loving thoughts and healing prayers . Shirley

So very sorry-Hard on your hearts, Ken was such a special person he would come into Ivanos and sharpen our knives and he knew everyone's names and was so kind and friendly. We would see him around town once in awhile and play catch-up. Too soon-Thinking of all of you in this sad time...Rena, Carl, Lea and Gregg

Chilley Willey, Knife Sharpening, Sky Meadow, the Garden, the Apple Trees, the "Garfield Bay Neighbors"" Llamas, lots of good memories, Ken was one of a kind like no other. A big guy, with a big heart with lots of one of a kind "Ken Stories". Remembrances of younger days. So glad I ran into him a few weeks ago for a heartfelt connection after NOT seeing him for some time. I started my career in Quiltmaking at Sky Meadow, helping Ken clean out Nancy's fiber art studio. Who knows what would have happened without that opportunity. My heart goes out to you Sandy. So glad you came along to join the big guy, kind of a bull but NOT a bully, with the big heart with lots of one of a kind "Ken Stories" to become part of. He will be missed.

I'm so sad to learn this news. Sandy, my sincere condolences for this sudden loss of dear Ken. I'd run into him or the two of you from time to time, and always felt loved despite the fact that we'd only chat a little while. My memories of him are so dear and sweet to me. I hope to attend the memorial on Sunday. Sending you prayers for comfort and strength.

Sandy, Having just seen Ken the weekend before, John and I were so shocked when we received the call from Tony that Ken had passed. We are so very sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed his knowledge of Gonzaga basketball, new recruits and his predictions into the upcoming season. He is going to be sorely missed when we are in Sagle watching ball games and just visiting. Please accept our condolences. John and Bev Decker

I am so sorry to hear about Kens passing. He was a truly remarkable man who touched my life in many ways. I always enjoyed chatting with him about his beautiful plants, which he was so proud of showing off. Concerts he had been to and ones I dreamed of attending, his and your future plans of your new home and of course his favorite time of the year March madness! He never failed to find me at Yokes and say hello and of course I looked for him to walk through the doors. I was in San Francisco this weekend, before I knew of his passing, and I thought of him countless times, when I saw the jade plants, a unique hot sauce and just at random sights. I thought nothing of it until I got the message this morning. Sandy, I am heartbroken for you! Please reach out if there is anything I can do to help. Much love to you my friend.
