Bud... Such wonderful memories that go back over so many years! Although I never made it back to Sandpoint, know my thoughts were and are with you. I have two distinct memories - Joyce's laugh which was both infectious and marvelous, and the orange VW camper, in which you made it all the way down to San Diego, California. Please know I send both love and condolences.

We will miss Joyce: her smile, her warmth, positive outlook, generosity, gourmet cooking, the way she gave her all to whatever she was involved in. Our prayers and heartfelt sympathy go to Bud and tbe whole family. There is a hole in the world.

We are so saddened to have lost Joyce way too soon. We have had 30 wonderful years of being friends and neighbors. Smiths: what a wonderful family to have so close in so many ways. My first memory is the orange Volkswagen bus. When I saw them coming and going from their beach, I thought that it would be fun to get to know them. I was lucky and I did get to know them and become friends. It has been a gift! What consoles me now is those 30 wonderful years. Love you Joyce!

Joyce was such a loving, giving person! She was my mom's best friend, and in this case, Mom's Alzheimer's saves her from the sorrow of Joyce's passing. Prayers for Bud, and all the family. She left a big hole for everyone but she lives on in each of you!
