John was a true human being. He had suck a piercing stare which would stop you in your tracks and yet to those who were blessed to be called friend by this wise soul, he had a heart as big as Texas. He was a patriot to his county, a gifted intellectual, a devoted and supportive companion to his wife and an amazing member of planet Earth. Our ways part now, but as you said, paths will cross again somewhere in the universe. Rest easy, be at peace, suffer no more.

Yes, John will certainly be missed. He was such a kind soul and loved by the many animals and birds that gathered about him in his yard, as well as those of us humans that were lucky enough to have known him. He was a true gentleman, a fine patriot and a wonderful husband. Thank you for your service, John. May you rest in peace.
