I am an old friend from N J . I have so many incredible memories with Jody. Jody was family... she celebrated years of holidays with us, we shared many amazing trips to Kauai. My Daughter and I were able to be a part of her marriage to Tom in Ohio and Wow did she look beautiful, she glowed! Such a happy occasion. Tom and Jody would visit Mark and I at our Pa farm . My daughter and I made a visit to Denver. But after my last trip to Kauai with Jody and Tom I had a lung surgery. I have not flown since. We kept in touch regularly. On March 21 I received my birthday card, mailed March 17. She never missed a date and we all looked so forward to her cards. I wish I could chat with her just one more time., to remind her how much she was loved. Tom love those dogs and please take care of yourself. That is what she would want you to do. We will keep Jody with us on all our memories. Tom feel our love always. Carolyn and Mark Conforth

Dear Tom, I was so sorry to hear about Jody\'s passing. I had the privilege of meeting Jody & you when she came to BGH Lab for her blood work. She was always positive & had a wonderful sense of humor Jody taught me about strength, & acceptance as she battled her cancer. Thank you for being her support & her love. My prayers are with you and your family .

To know Jody was to love her. To know Jody was to know how much she loved Tom and how much he loved Jody. He was her hero and protector. Tom would do anything to make Jody feel loved. With his own two hands he built her dream house high on a hill overlooking a beautiful lake with a magnificent view of the Heavens touching the Earth. Surviving sickness and many trials, together Tom & Jody had found the Perfect Place for such a Perfect Couple. Perfection is hard to achieve if at all possible. Tom, You made this feeling possible for Jody. God Bless you both...

We had many laughs and good times at EAL. Oh the stories she could tell flying the shuttle. That tells you how many years we\'ve been friends.I\'ll miss her letters and notes she wrote over the years. She never forgot a birthday or special occasion. I still can\'t believe she\'s gone.My deepest sympathy. Take care of yourself Tom.

One of the nicest things about moving to E. Hope was meeting and becoming friends with Jody and Tom. We really appreciated that she organized all kinds of fun events. Her warm and caring personality was apparent in everything she did. Her optimism was infectious and she never complained even when physical ailments tried to slow her down. Bible study with Jody was a blessing to me. She took it very seriously and still made learning about the lord fun. We will continue to miss her in so many ways.

Tom, I am sending my most heartfelt condolences. I didn't know Jody, but really wish I had. I was reading this guestbook and she sounds like such a special, wonderful person. I know you need prayers and I'm adding mine to the many you are already getting. Take care. Much love to you, cousin!

I've known Jody for only three years, but it was clear to me that she was a driving force in anything she got involved in. Persistent, assertive, and with a sense of humor, she kept our breakfast group cohesive, and I sure miss her weekly reminder phone calls letting me know where the next meeting would be. There was no need to have her identify herself - her unique voice took care of that. In spite of her medical issues, I rarely heard her complain, which is amazing given that most of us "of a certain age" have a problem or two. She just chose not to dwell on it. Not only that, but I've never seen her when she wasn't impeccably dressed, coiffed, and with perfect make-up and nails. It says something about a person when she honors her friends and acquaintances by making the effort to always look "presentable" in their presence. Jody, we miss you. You just added so much to the world.

Dear Tom: My Heart is Broken for You to Hear of the Passing of Your Lovely So Full of Life Jody. Jody & I Became Friends thru Linda & Selling Real Estate in New Jersey. I'll Tell You What-Like the Song Says "Those Were The Days My Friend, We Thought They'd Never End, We'd Sing & Dance Forever & A Day" That Just About Sums Up My Fond Memories of Jody & NJ. We have all now scattered about to Different Parts of the Country But The Love for Those We Truly Care About Never Ceases. One of the Highlights of My Life, Living in Massachusetts Now, Is the Annual Christmas Card From Jody-Touching Base & Catching Up the Way Only Jody Could Do. There Goes Another Void in This Thing Called Life. I was Always in Awe of the Beautiful Smile You, Tom, Brought to Jody's Pretty Face When Looking at these Cards. So in Honor of Jody-Let's All Try to Keep Smiling, as I Truly Know that is What She Would Want Us to All Do. Again, So Sorry for the Loss of this Beautiful Woman I had the Privilege to Call My Friend! -Mary Ann Loux Westport, Massachusetts

Jody, from the first day we met selling real estate we became friends. Our friendship grew every day, and we loved being together having fun. She was my very best friend and I loved her so very, very much. When Jake and I moved from NJ to Idaho, Jody and I couldn’t stop crying. We missed each other so much. A few months later Jody was transferred to Colorado, by United. I visited Jody in Denver many times and one time put her on Match.Com. I didn’t want her to be lonely. She met Tom Grimm online, and soon they were a couple. I was so happy for them. We even shopped for an engagement ring together. That was a wonderful Christmas in Denver. Tom and Jody visited me in Idaho and loved it. Jody was finally able to leave Colorado after her stem cell transplant. They visited me soon after and found an adorable home in East Hope. I was thrilled to have her near me. Jake, Tom, Jody and I had so many fun times together. Eventually Tom built Jody a new home, with a beautiful view. Jody was an animal lover like I am, we spoiled those winter deer with so much food. But, nothing could compare with her love for her dogs, Murphy and Millie. Of course Jody loved Tom more than anything. My heart is hurting for the loss of my best friend. My heart is full of sweet memories.

Jody was a one of a kind person. She had the ability to make everyone feel included in her wonderful life. She was one of the happiest, most loving people I have known. We will miss her bubbly, fun and loving personality. She will always be with you Tom.

We are heartbroken by the news of our beloved Aunt Jody. We are so thankful Tom came into Jody’s life so many years ago and brought so much joy and happiness to us all. Aunt Jody was such a light in this world. Her ability to always remember a birthday and anniversary was so special. She had a unique way of making everyone around her feel loved and cherished. We know she will be watching over all of us and continuing to bless our lives. We are encouraged to know and believe that families can be together forever and we look forward to being reunited once again. All of our love

I will remember Jody fondly, with a smile, as I think of the times of laughter (Tom and Tim dancing) and all the cards we received from her on special occasions. I can still hear her stern voice saying Murphy Grimm.....!" I always respected Jody's strength and tenacity. I never heard her complain when things were tough. She didn't even complain when the baptismal didn't heat up and she went on and got baptised in cold water. Her determination kept her going. This is not a goodbye, it's a "see you later my sister in the Lord." I will miss you untill we meet again in Heaven.

I was truly saddened to hear the news. I miss seeing all my "Hope-ites" from days past. She had an infectious smile and bubbly personality. It was a "God-thing" that our lives crossed when they did. She placed her hope in Jesus and because of that now gets to live in the best city of Hope! She has been granted her wings! I will pray for you all to experience the peace of Christ in this season of great loss.

Jody, Will miss you until I see you again. You,Tom, Fran and I had so many good times I can't remember them all. From all the 5 o'clock happy hours to many get togethers with all of our friends. To our fishing trips on your boat which was always fun even though we hardly caught any fish. Love to you sister always. Tim
