While growing up in Sandpoint, Frankie was a fixture in my Sunday mornings. She sat in the second row, first seat at the Presbyterian Church. I remember her as strong, outspoken and funny. When we kids got the giggles during a music performance, it was Frankie who clapped her hands and told us, "baby, you better just start over." When it was time for the rummage sale, it was Frankie who modeled the hats and other "treasures" to advertise the sale. What a blessing to have grown up seeing a woman speak her mind and be herself. Thank you Frankie.

Frankie Clouse was my mother-in-law and a wonderful friend and mentor. She was an amazing person who always came up with very good advice and had a way to get to the bottom of what was bothering you. Her sense of humor still lives in the many stories of her friends. She was very loved by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great gtandchildren. Yes we have had family gatherings of five generations. She will be missed by many of us.
