Charles Clifford “Cliff” Berry, 90, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at his home in Sandpoint, Idaho. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Lakeview Funeral Home.
Cliff was born on January 18, 1929 in Missoula, MT to George and Emma Berry, the youngest of 13 children. He grew up and attended schools in Spokane, graduating from Rogers High School in 1948. He married his high school sweetheart, Belle Messman, and she later passed away.
Cliff married Alice Kay Campbell in 1969. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling. Cliff retired from the City of Sandpoint in 1991. He liked to read books, recite limericks and poetry and work in their yard and garden.
Cliff is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years Kay Berry of Sandpoint; one son Richard (Carol Jean) Berry of Newport, WA; two daughters Lynne (Del) Thompson of Sandpoint and Kim (Mike) Bigsby of Springdale, WA; one stepson Bill Eicher; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Belle, siblings Florence, Frances, Marie, Ruth, Faye, Floyd, Carlos, Claude, and Richard.
